ESA

ESA with Judy afterschool, which will also follow tomorrow's Body Worlds trip. I owe her 2 dinners so far.

Today I watched a Korean harpist in action as she performed with an orchestra. What hands! Sitting in the auditorium of an art school, I realized the lack of musicianship at Woburn. The Chamber Choir consisted of a good 20 people, all of which, I'm sure, can distintegrate any vocalist at our school.

In other news, Nathan might stay for a 5th. I've almost ditched my blogger, so I think I'll get back to that again.

The Feeling

Isn't it another one of those days when you feel like crap? There might not be a clear, defined reason. There may be many reasons, but in the end it all adds up to feeling like crap. Not just doo-doo crap, but, like... non-colourful crap. Another one of those days when you feel like you've achieved nothing, will achieve nothing, and nobody cares whether or not you've achieved anything or will achieve anything. You sit down and attempt to achieve something, but a little microscopic gnome in your head rings a bell through an amp and says "Nobody cares =]".

To achieve nothing, or achieve nothing, that is the question. In your dreams, a little angel sprinkles faeriedust and you wake up with one thought in your mind: STFU. But STFU about what? Does the acronym STFU really mean anything? Just as unimportant is that issue of whether anybody cares whether you've achieved anything or will STFU about not achieving anything. Again the gnome turns on his newly developed amplifier siren and shouts "Nobody cares so STFU."

You can't forget about the colourless crap, the one true substance that everything revolves around and causes you to feel like what you feel today. You start wondering if the angel actually sprinkled faeriedust or microscopic fragments of crap. Otherwise, you close your eyes and see the everso familiar acronym. But what's this? There's a little bit to the left of it... you squint closed eyes and surely enough, it reads "kthx".

You sit down at your desk and try to achieve something, but you feel like crap, know you've achieved nothing and will achieve nothing and that nobody cares whether you've achieved anything or will achieve anything. The microscopic gnome and his wife detonate 0.5 grams of TNT in your head and, simultaneously, shout "Nobody cares =]". You fall unconscious, but in your half-lucid dream the angel sprinkles faeriedust -let's hope it's not the alternative- and you wake up with one thought: STFU kthx.

I feel great today!

These titles are gay now

I hit 70 today.

Reading what some of the grade 12's wrote, I started to realize that the most important decision of my life is but a couple months away from now. I maybe more competitive than many, but in the eyes of my family and others, I am not nearly come to the goal. Toronto is so small. There are so many people out there better than me, just camping around the corner with an AK and waiting to destroy Ken Yang.

On a side note, Madrigals are sounding a lot better now. With the addition of 2 basses, I'm just worried everybody else will get owned. EVERYBODY KTHX.

Chamber is getting nowhere. Rehearsal time is spent learning music (or the same 2 of the 20 pages we went over before). Oh well... Ken's not mad. =]

Yeah

Even though I realize idolizing = mortal sin, I'm going to do it anyway. Subsequently and realistically, I could only come up with 2 people: Nathan M. and Matthew L., even though one of them is far closer to me than the other. Let's look at a breakdown of these 2 individuals and analyze...

  • Primarily, both have a phenomenal and unique sense of fashion that only slightly reflects their incomparable character
  • They've got the smarts, the looks, as well as the sharp hair
  • Their artistic distinction and perseverance affects everything they do in a positive aura
  • Speaking of auras, the atmosphere around them seems purposeful yet benevolent simultaneously
  • Both have an unparalleled style of dance and culture, and are physically accomplished (i.e. Yoga, B-Boy)
  • Although they are not tall (my height, push-pull), they have attained a strikingly extravagant social status for what they do
  • Foul language is heard by them, not spoken
  • Both individuals may be branded as "Renaissance" men
  • Ultimately, their commitment and striving mindset towards life completes their image

This was an excellent opportunity to point out the qualities of 2 persons around us in direct comparison. Hope you enjoyed.

Leya's Rant

I'm blogging randomly now, because Leya (of Music Bridge) really dislikes her mom. This is for you, Leya. She was my cellist 2 years ago.

School's back! Woohoo! I think I need to update my wardrobe collection, especially my shoes, because I have like 20 pairs of running shoes. It's all cool, except I'm not always running.

Sometimes I wish I were a year older, or like, 5 years younger. There are those few individuals in my grade who are cool and awesome, and if you're reading this, chances are you're one of them. It just strikes me that the people a grade above me are so much more crazy. Maybe it's just my personality, but when this school year ends and everybody graduates (excluding the 5th years), I'll have like 2 friends. Or one. Maybe three.

Anyways, Willie looks real happy.
